Refund and Returns Policy

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with consumer protection legislation, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, without having to provide any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by:

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

  1. Send a clear communication within 14 days of receipt
  2. Return the goods within a further 14 days from your communication
  3. The product must be intact, unused and in its original packaging
  4. Include a copy of the invoice or proof of purchase

Return Conditions

Products must be returned:

  • Intact and unused: in the same condition as received
  • With original packaging: complete with all accessories, manuals and documents
  • Without damage or signs of use: must not show scratches, dents or alterations

Exclusions from Right of Withdrawal

The following are excluded from the right of withdrawal:

  • Custom-made or personalized products: table legs made to specific dimensions requested by the customer
  • Opened sealed products: items that for hygiene or health protection reasons cannot be returned after opening the packaging
  • Perishable products: items that by their nature cannot be returned after a certain period

Return Shipping Costs

The shipping costs for returning goods are borne by the customer, except in cases of defective products or errors on our part.

Important: Given the nature and size of some of our products (hairdresser chairs, stone objects), we recommend that you:

  • Use an insured courier service
  • Pack the goods carefully to avoid damage during transport
  • Keep proof of shipment

Refund

Once the returned goods have been received and their conformity verified, we will process the refund within 14 days using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

The refund includes:

  • Product amount
  • Initial shipping costs (only for standard shipping, not for premium options)

The refund does NOT include:

  • Return shipping costs incurred by the customer
  • Any additional costs arising from shipping methods other than standard

Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective, damaged or non-conforming product:

  1. Report immediately: within 48 hours of receipt, send us photos of the damage/defect
  2. Contact us: via email at virna@thebestof.design with order number and problem description
  3. Wait for instructions: we will provide you with return instructions
  4. Costs covered by us: in these cases, shipping costs are covered by us

Check Upon Arrival

We invite you to check the integrity of the goods upon delivery. In case of:

  • Damaged packaging: accept with reservation and note on the transport document
  • Evident damage: refuse delivery and contact us immediately

Legal Warranty

All our products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity of 24 months in accordance with consumer protection laws.

The warranty covers:

  • Conformity defects existing at the time of delivery
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Hidden defects that appear within 2 years of purchase

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Damage resulting from improper or negligent use
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused during return transport (if not properly packaged)
  • Modifications or repairs carried out by unauthorized third parties

Stone Products – Specific Notes

Natural stone objects have characteristics inherent to the material:

  • Veining and color variations are natural characteristics, not defects
  • Small surface imperfections are part of the product’s nature
  • These characteristics do not constitute grounds for return
